API access, or is there another method of printing from linux command-line

Hi All,

I bought a memobird printer, hoping to use it with IFTTT to do some automated printing.  Unfortunately, it's not possible with IFTTT anymore.

So I think the API would work just fine, as I could accomplish the same thing using a python program that I could write.

However, I have no idea how to get API access.  I've send a couple of messages already to the memobird@intretech.com e-mail address, requesting access.  But haven't heard back.  How long does it usually take?

A second approach for me, if API access isn't possible,  would be to print to the printer directly somehow.  Is this possible?  If I know the printer's local IP address, is there a way to add it as a printer, or to print to it directly using netcat or something similar?
